For the first time in four years, Disco Tropicana returned to Belgium to host a stage at one of the country’s most prominent beach festivals: Ostend Beach. Nestled in the sand of Oostende’s beautiful beach, the festival featured multiple stages and a lineup of big names, including Armand van Helden, Eli Brown, Andrea Oliva, and Defected resident Sam Divine. This event marked Disco Tropicana’s return to Belgium, following their previous home at the now-closed beach club Baouzza in Bilzen (BE) a few years ago.
We Love Belgium!
What a vibe! Our summery disco house sounds perfectly matched the enthusiastic, welcoming Belgian crowd, who danced in the sand from start to finish. During the event, our resident Nothing But Funk premiered his new single “Blow Your Mind (feat. LZARUS),” set to be released soon on Disco Tropicana Records, while all DJs delivered a mix of nu-disco house grooves, seamlessly blending classics from Room 5, Eddie Amador, and Jamiroquai with fresh tracks by Purple Disco Machine, David Penn, and Michael Gray. The enthousiastic crowd gave the DJs freedom to explore a wide range within the disco and disco house spectrum. A big shout-out to Brent New, CAJA, Yoshua JR., Nothing But Funk, Mr. Grammy, Reygel, and Christian 82 for showcasing their finest music selection at our area!

We are Disco Tropicana!
Disco deserves another decade. We want our club nights to be filled with not just the best songs from the past but also new, fresh, and exciting music made with the same passion, soul, and energy. Our sets blend influences from seventies disco, eighties post-disco, nineties house, and noughties disco house, all with the fresh sound of the 2020s. As one of the Netherlands’ most booked disco house concepts and record labels, Disco Tropicana has traveled to renowned festivals and venues such as Dance Valley, Paaspop, and Paradiso Amsterdam. In early spring 2024, we completed a tour across 14 venues throughout the Netherlands.
